Addie Lawson grew up in rural NW Iowa, where there wasn't much for music. She has been playing music for more than a decade, she's played the piano for 15 years, violin/fiddle for 12 years and bass for 7 years. She also dabbles in playing the banjo, guitar, and mandolin. Currently, Addie plays bass in William Lawson, a band her brother started in 2019. She also fills in with many other bands upon request. Even though she is young, Addie has a lot of performing experience, she has shared the stage and played with Bobby Osborne, Herschel Sizemore, Lauren Price Napier, Bob Black, Hayes Griffin, Don Julin, Paul Kowert, Doyle Lawson, Stash Wyslouch, Todd Phillips, Missy Raines and many more. Addie has always enjoyed teaching because she loves to watch her students grow to love music as much as she does and succeed.  She strives for her students is to be the best they can be and to never give up on their passions and dreams!
