I do! I teach lessons in person and online via Zoom! I also teach out of Trinity United Methodist Church in Webb, IA.

I started out with the Suzuki method which is classical, but a few years later I switched to playing more bluegrass/country fiddle. I've also studied some Jazz fiddle playing and can play by ear.

I access each student individually and assign curriculum best suited to their learning styles, experience level, and what there desired goals are.

You are never too old for lessons, but for maturity levels I encourage for kids to be  ages 6+!

For best results I recommend practicing for at least 30 minutes 3-4 days a week. This will help improve your playing faster so we can move onto the next thing to learn!

No, not necessarily, but, it does makes it a lot easier if you have played at least 1 year of another instrument, though recommended it's definitely not required. 

For kids ages 5-12 I usually teach one (1) 30 minute lesson once a week and for ages 12+ I teach one (1) 45 minute or hour lesson per week.

NOTE: 12+ can still do a 1/2 hour lesson too if they please.

YES! Learning any instrument is worth it, you are learning a skill you can use for life!
